Project Theatre is looking to strengthen our Board of Trustees through the appointment of more board members to join our current board of 4. Applications from people who have experience in the arts, creative industries, business, working with young people, charity governance, fundraising, finance and marketing would be particularly welcome.

Project Theatre is an award winning Scottish theatre arts organisation that celebrates the energy, experience and potential of all young people. Established in 2008, the company provides a platform for young people to express themselves, be creative and creates live theatre driven by our Positive Performance approach. Project Theatre is the only theatre arts organisation in our local area working in this particular way and has established a reputation for high quality, diverse work which reflects an eclectic range of theatrical styles underpinned by pushing boundaries and challenging stereotypes.

The company currently produces at least two productions a year and offers training development opportunities for young people in theatre throughout the year, workshops and community projects.

Project Theatre is funded by donations and grants and currently has the management structure of Board of Trustees, Committee of members, Production Team and Volunteer Body. Board meetings are held 4-5  times a year in Falkirk.

Please note that this is a voluntary role.  The Trustees do not receive remuneration for the role, however expenses incurred in carrying board duties will be fully reimbursed.
