Project Theatre believes passionately about recognising and rewarding young people and our dedicated volunteers for their enthusiasm, talent and dedication to the company.  

To this end we have a variety of awards given out each year recognising and celebrating our achievements throughout the year.  

The Annual Awards usually take place in January of each year

Certificates

Participation certificates awarded to every participating member of the company as a thankyou for their commitement and hard work in workshops, productions and other company activities.  

Outstanding Achievement Awards: Acting, Singing and Dancing

Awards given by the Production Team members to a member who has shown enthusiasm, promise & worked hard during a production in a specific discipline.

Inov8 Dance Award

An award given to a committed member of Inov8 Dance who has shown exceptional promise, has made a special contribution to the group and represented the group well in the wider community.

Star Member Award

An award given by the Company to a committed member of Project Theatre who has shown exceptional promise, has made a special contribution to the company and represented the group well in the wider community.

Youth Representative Certificates

Certificates given to the members who has served as Company Youth Representatives.

Online Champion Award

Introduced in 2012 this is the award to recognise a member, parent or volunteer who has promoted the company and events through social media and the internet.

Members and volunteers will be able to nominate online who they think should win the award. The three with the most nominations will then be judged and the winner chosen.

Top Fundraiser Award

Introduced in 2013 this is the award to recognise a member, parent or volunteer who has been heavily involved in fundraising activities.

Volunteer of the Year Award

Introduced in 2017 this award recognises a committed volunteer of the company who has helped consistently in various ways wherever needed for a long period of time often behind the scenes without whom the company would not be the same.

James O'Rourke Quaich Award

An award given by the Artistic Director to a committed member or volunteer of Project Theatre who has shown exceptional commitement and service above and beyond the call of duty creatively and practically, during a production or event without whom the production or event would not have been the same.
