The PT Panto is back for 2023 - Oh yes it is!

Pantoland is in chaos and crisis – sound familiar?

Set across three different worlds – Agravah, Falkirk and China, things are all muddled up in Pantoland.

With the evil Abanazar Scrooge trying his best to find the magic lamp and rule the world for his own evil wishes, it’s upto an unsuspecting young lad from right here in Falkirk (of all places!) to go on an epic journey, save the day and maybe find some pals and true love along the way!

This new pantomime has been written and directed by Jamie O’Rourke, our Artistic Director using ideas and input from our Youth Theatre members themselves right from the early devising process.

Aladin Falkirk is a new, modern and hilarious take on not only the well-known Arabian tale but combines old and more contemporary traditions and influences of the classic Chinese-inspired pantomime.

This panto contains references to modern film and musical adaptations of the story and also other well-known pantos and characters thrown in for good measure!

With some fun local references, modern songs and with lyrics reflecting colloquial language and some well-kent locales, this show has been developed to make this a magical adventure for all the family and with a few things for the adults to enjoy too!
