SCREEN SCHOOL
The Screen is our Stage too
Screen School is our weekly film and media programme, focused on performance, storytelling and digital content creation across film, television, podcasting and online media. Students learn, create and collaborate through practical projects, developing skills in screen acting, filmmaking, directing and content creation both in front of and behind the camera.
Through professional, industry-inspired training, we provide a creative and challenging environment for young people passionate about visual storytelling, while also creating content that celebrates and supports the wider work of Project Theatre.

Upcoming / Recent work
The Path Dyed Red (2026)
The Path Dyed Red is a horror and dark fairytale short film inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.
When a lost stranger enters an ancient woodland, she meets Red, a seemingly helpful guide who knows its creatures, courts and dangerous rules. But Red is not the innocent girl from the familiar tale. She has entered the woods with a hidden plan driven by grief and revenge.
Combining fantasy, suspense, action and psychological horror, the film explores fear, morality and the choices that determine who becomes the victim, the hero or the monster.
The Signal (2025)
The Signal was an action-packed short film project that gave young performers the opportunity to explore the excitement, tension and fast-paced storytelling of the action genre.
Through acting, movement, screen combat, chase sequences and dramatic character work, participants learned how action scenes were carefully planned, rehearsed and filmed safely. The project explored how camera angles, editing, sound, music and visual effects could transform a simple scene into an exciting cinematic sequence.
Working together as cast and crew, the young people developed their performance, filmmaking, teamwork and problem-solving skills while creating an original short film filled with suspense, danger and adventure.
History of the Future (2024)
History of the Future was a science-fiction short film project exploring climate change, pollution, environmental responsibility and the power of collective action.
Combining science fiction, comedy, satire, drama, movement, stop-motion animation and location filming, the project encouraged young people to consider how their actions today could help change the history of the future.
